"AND THE WINNER IS"
Anthem Pictures has released a new political comedy featuring Jerry Springer. My song "Miss 4th of July" is being played as the closing credits roll.

I have signed a single song publishing contract with Mel Tillis Enterprises for my song "GONNA BE BAD, IN A VERY GOOD WAY".
This is the 7th single song contract I have signed with Mel Tillis in the past 2 years. The other songs signed by Mel to his publishing company include: "Miss 4th of July", "Look Into My Eyes", Every Time You Touch Me", "When He Comes Home To Her", "Satisfaction On My Mind" and "Santa Please Help Me".
Mel has told me these are great songs and he looks forward to pitching them to Nashville's biggest stars.
I'm very excited and proud to be a write with this legendary singer, songwriter, inductee to the Country Music Hall Of Fame and a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Mel Tillis was also selected songwriter of the decade by BMI.

The musical director for the motion picture "And The Winner Is" called to say my song "Miss 4th Of July" has been selected for the sound track.
The movie stars Jerry Springer, Robert Silk, Cindi Lipton, and John Noble.
The movie is a comedy about a town that decides to elect it's next mayor by having a beauty Pageant. Go to www.winneris.net   and see a 3 minute trailer for this movie. The movies release is scheduled for late 2008.

Steve's song, "When He Comes Home To Her," has been used by The Sable Band in a video remix that you can watch on YouTube.  CLICK HERE to watch the video.

Steve is very pleased to announce that he has signed a publishing contract with Little Dimple Music, (ASCAP) a publishing company owned by the legendary Mel Tillis.

It is a two song deal for the songs "Santa Please Help Me" and "Satisfaction On My Mind". Steve met Mel in Orlando while Tillis was promoting country singer Kenyon Lockery who Mel manages. Steve pitched some of his songs to Mel after the show.

A few weeks later Steve got a phone call saying Tillis "loved several" of the songs. The publishing contract soon followed.

Having Mel Tillis tell Steve he loved his songwriting was a dream come true. Being a songwriter under contract for Mel Tillis is a thrll beyond Steve's wildest imagination.

During CMA Fan Fair week, I signed a single song contract with ASCAP and Mirror Image Nashville for the song "Look Into My Eyes".

Sable Band from St. Louis, Missouri has recorded two versions of my award winning song "When He Comes Home To Her". These versions are on the Sable EP "If I Fell". There is a full band version and a acoustic version.
